Good And Bad Effects: How Cannabis Affects Your Brain And Body

Since the legalization of cannabis in Canada is coming soon, the 17 of October cannabis will be officially legalized and every Canadians will have access to this product, so it's important for the Canadians to know what are the effects of cannabis on brain functions and on the body. Marijuana has medical and recreational utilities but can also be damaging to your body and your mind. The "buzz" you get from marijuana comes from a chemical called Tetrahydrocannabinol, known as THC which is found on various quantities. Most of the THC's effects happen in the brain where the chemical reactions between cannabis and our brain cells called cannabinoid receptors. Actually, our bodies create chemicals that are similar to THC, that are useful for normal brain functions and development. Now let's talk about bad effects that can be dangerous for your body and mind:

-THC messes with your balance, posture, coordination and reaction time.
