The Differents Types of Students and Teachers When a Question is Asked.

Before we fully answer this important question you need to understand a few things. The teachers' choice doesn’t revolve on their mood or simply because they don’t like you. It is far deeper than that. To complete the equation you need to have all the variables; the teachers' and the students'.

In my research, I decided to separate the various types of students and teachers alike in three categories.

The students:

The hopefuls: These are the ones who actually do all of their homework, sit in class attentive to every word falling from the mouth of the teacher and still don't understand. They will sit very still and barely breathe. They hope not to attract the eagle's eyes of the teacher when a question is on the run.

The distracted: This category of students contains all of those who are not attentive in class. The artist (always drawing), the reader (a book is never too far), the dreamer (wondering who they are and what their goals in life are), the interactive (those who are talking, laughing and singing with their friends) and many others.

The gifted: My fellow friends, this type of students are lucky, very lucky. I don’t know how they do it, but their grades are reaching the 100%. Their homeworks are done (or mostly done) in time and they seem to always know the answer of the question even when they missed the class on the subject. They are literally the brain of the group.

The teachers:

The wild one: This, my dear, is certainly the worst type of teacher an hopeful or a distracted can meet. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are seated in the class or if you are hiding. They will ask a random person at a random place and at a random time. Nobody is safe. Run for your life.

The predictable: They will choose a student that raised their hand. If there are none, they will ask the question again and again until someone have the courage to answer it.

The hawk: They see everything. Even when you’re hiding your book or when you’re not paying attention to their class. They will pick the one that are the most distracted or those who seemed to bring them back to earth. Otherwise, they’ll pick the student that raised their hand.

This shows how teacher thinks. Just remember to smile when you answer a question.
