Why you should play Ultimate Frisbee at school

High school is not appreciated by everyone, but we all have to stay there five years. That’s why we need to find a certain motivation to go to school, particularly at the end of the year when we’re very bored. Extracurricular activities, such as Ultimate frisbee, are a very good way to keep this motivation.

Ultimate frisbee is an amazing activity offered at Saint-Charles-Garnier with interschools tournaments in may and june. It’s an interesting sport where the spirit is really important, so the team spirit we have is really agreeable. Plus, it’s just at the best moment, when you start to be so bored of school. If you’ve never play Ultimate, you must try it, because everyone can be a great player in only a few weeks!

Having never been on an Express team, I discovered all the advantages with the Ultimate. First, the amazing team spirit leads to new friends with who we have fun during practices and tournament. Second, we stay motivated through our school day because we know that we’ll play Ultimate really soon. Third, it’s a sport, so it helps you to get fit or to keep your shape. Fourth, it enables the acquisition of the DESCG, which we would all be happy to have, wouldn’t we?

Finally, if you want to have fun with other students, to play a new and exceptional sport, you have to start playing Ultimate at the College. Who knows, this activity could takes you to the Canadian Ultimate Championships...
