The Best Canada Prime Minister Ever!!!

Brian Mulroney

According to me, the best Prime Minister ever is Brian Mulroney. He has been Prime Minister of Canada from 1984 to 1993.

The first reason I think he is the best Canada Prime Minister is his best accomplishment : contributing in bringing down the South African aparteid regime. He helped bring down the deficit. He also had a lot of guts and I find it disappointing that in Canada, we do not have more politicians like him. He was someone who has guts. He proved it by bringing down the aparteid regime while the United Kingdom's Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and American President Ronald Reagan were in favor of the aparteid regime. He also concluded a free-trade agreement with the United States of America and Mexico. It was not a very popular decision to make during those years when he was the Prime Minister. John Turner, leader of the Opposition and leader of the Liberal Party said that Mulroney wanted to transform Canadian people into Americans. The New Democratic Party's position was the same as the Liberal's.

Brian Mulroney was also the only one Prime Minister who had the largest majority of votes during an election in the whole history of Canada. I am aware that his daughter Caroline is a provincial deputy in Toronto. I would not be surprised if she goes into federal politic. It would be extremelly obvious that she is interested to take over daddy's job.
