An inspiring company
In the cosmetic world, so much things are done in the name of money. Chemicals are added to the products, animals are killed and injured for tests so compagnies are able to sell their brands in China, products are overpriced and rare are the companies who give a part of their earnings for good causes and agencies. All of these facts can make us want to run away from buying cosmetics, but it’s important to know that even if good products and good values are hard to find in cosmetics brands, some are differents. Among those, Lush Cosmetics, a British brand that is sell all around the world, have to please consumers . Lush is based on three majors values : have natural and fresh ingredients, be cruelty-free and be ecologic.
First of all, one of the most interesting point of this brand is that every product is as natural as possible. If we read the list of the ingredients, we can see that most of them are 100% natural and a big part of them are even vegan and fair trade. When we buy their cosmetics, we are sure not to put chemicals on our skin. Each product is handmade with fresh ingredients, like fruits juice, plants and essentials oils. They created a variety of bath, shower, hair, face, body, fragranceand makeup products that are all made with well choose ingredients, so we have the best of both worlds : efficiency and purity. Also,the fact that these products are naturals make them cost less, cause you do not have to pay for synthetic products that are created in laboratory.
Secondly, another amazing thing about Lush is that they’re totally cruelty-free. They do not test any of their products on animal, which is something that is very more ethic. They even go even farther : they give money for the animal’s cause and also to poor
countries. The earning of some of their products all go for good causes ; so why not encouraging these values?
After, Lushis really ecologic : they always use recycled packaging, from the pot to the bag. Also, they want to promote recycling by giving a free mask when you bring back 5 of your old pot.
In conclusion, Lush Cosmetics is a brand that worths giving a try and that is as good for us as it is for our world.
