Controversy around a first kiss stolen by Katy Perry.
Katy Perry succeed to make a big controversy by kissing on the lips - his first kiss ever- BenjaminGlaze, a nineteen years old boy candidate for the new season of “ American Idol”.
Even if the Benjamins keep smiling, he explains that he founds the kiss “ uncomfortable” when the New York Times reporters ask him details on the situation. He never consents to the kiss from Perry and adds: “ I would have refused it if the famous singer asked permission in the first place”. Most people believe that this kiss was wholly inappropriate. For them it was the wrong place and a bad time for a first kiss.
Think about is a second. If it was the host that has give a “good luck kiss” to a participant without her permission, he would have get in serious trouble and probably out of a job. It is not what we can call double standards? Anyone watching “American Idol” feel like Katy Perry pressured that poor kid into letting her kiss him on the cheek and violated him by planting one on his lips?
There have been a breach of modesty or a violation of decency. It is just that for some people, a kiss can tell a lot because they can remember that for a very long time. It cans make born the wish to go a farwer especially when it is your first kiss.
You have to know that Benjamin wanted to save his first kone for his first relationship to make it more special because he is coming from a conservative’s place. In other words, the young boy things like the public: it was the wrong place and a bad time for a first kiss.
Yet, representatives for ABC haven’t commented the incident.
