By now you have probably heard about the Marchand family, the family that has been ruling the long distance run at Saint-Charles. The oldest son of the family is Victor Marchand. He has been impressing us throughout his five years of high school, but recently on October 1st, he really blew us away by winning the Provincial Duathlon Championship of Boucherville and in the same day winning the Coupe du Québec. Thanks to that win he received an invitation to the World Championship in Fyn, Denmark. But he isn’t the only one who won. On October 1st his little sister Emma-Jeanne, in secondary one, also won first place in her category, and as if it wasn’t enough, the father of our gold medalist finished in 4th place in his category and he will also go to Denmark with Victor. We wish them both a lot of luck for Denmark on July 6th.
