| A picture from last year's humanitarian trip |
Every year, Saint-Charles-Garnier offers to the secondary five students the chance to do a humanitarian trip. It is the first time we’re taking this project to Costa Rica. With a different approach, the student will experiment what is life like over there. They have the chance to meet families from little tribes and live the whole experience. They will visit ecosystems, volcanos and cultural aspects of the country. Humanitarian trips are experiences no one should miss. Some are one in a lifetime opportunities. They make you connect with the world in a way you have never seen before and it’s also a great way to meet new people and discover new things about different parts of the world. You help other people lives get better by helping them build schools, hospitals and many more. It also helps to participate in their daily routines or just by making them smile. Everything you do to help and make their lives just a little better, is a win win situation.
Unfortunately, this year we’re missing a few people for the trip to happen and be possible. The cost might seem a little high but with all the hard work we put in financing, it is not that bad. In your life you won’t have a lot of chances to do this great investment. It is an opportunity that no one should miss if they have the chance to do it.
