A New Machine at Saint-Charles?

by Sandrine Babineau and Claire Pleau

Since the creation of Collège Saint-Charles-Garnier, technology has been evolving a lot at the school. Despite new computers and interactive boards, the cafeteria was far from the new technology. Many students couldn’t buy their food because the cafeteria was only accepting bills and cheques. This year, the cafeteria is equipped with a debit card machine which attracts many students to buy food more often. Also, since there are more students buying food at the cafeteria, it helps developing the economy of the school. Furthermore, the debit card machine allows a faster way of payment, so the waiting line is shorter than the previous years. This new technology let us enjoy a longer lunchtime period and saves time for the sports players to go to the gym. And we hope that maybe in five years, nobody will use bills and cheques anymore.
