Saturday the 24th was a very sad weekend for the soccer juvénile. We lost both our games against Saint-Jean-Eudes and Collège des Compagnons. It could have been worse, we only lost our 2 games by 1 goal and to be honest we did not necessarily deserve to win but we at least deserved some draws.
Both teams that we played against were very physical in their playing style which was the main factor for us turning the ball over. As for the goals conceded it mainly came down to small mistakes by the defenders and a lack of communication between players.
Something else happened, our goalkeeper Michel Wu was unfortunately injured with a minor crack to the thoracic cavity. Because of it, he could not play. We had to put in another player to replace him and he was more than capable of it. That player being Axel who impressed us with his clearing kicks that went beyond the halfway line and with his saves.
A lot of player played great. The defence was very solid and the only thing we lacked was on the attack that didn’t get to pull off many shot attempts.
