For returning students the Terry Fox run is a reoccurring event at Saint-Charles-Garnier that happens early October. The organizers for this event are Mr Bédard, Ms Moisan and Mr Leblond. The run has gone on ever since 2010, but this year the method of doing it is going to be different. In the past we have had elastics, sharpie marks, but this year, we will have bibs with a chip glued onto it. Another new factor from the last five years is that the run will be held at Bois-de-Coulonge. The race is planned to start this Friday at 9:15 am and to go on to a maximum of 10:30 am. Students from secondary 1 to 5 will be sharing the course at the same time, which is something the school hasn’t done in the last 5 years. Students will have to run a 5km at their own pace. This will be the first time for secondary one students and the last time for secondary five students running the Terry Fox run at Saint-Charles.
