Our Last First Day as High Schoolers

by Stéphane Marier and My Vi Huynh

As we all know, high school must come to an end, and this year this our time. So me and my friend My Vi wanted to know how people felt about knowing that this would be of we all graduate our last first day of high school. To do so, My Vi interviewed her best friend Gabrielle Morin to have a better idea about it.

Interview with a Secondary 5 student
thumbnail_image1 (1).jpgI (My Vi Huynh.) interviewed my friend Gabrielle Morin, a fellow Secondary 5 student and asked her about how she felt toward graduating this year.

My Vi Huynh: What does it feel like to be going through your last year of high school? Have you set any particular goals for yourself this year?
Gabrielle Morin: I’m looking forward to the future but enjoying the present. Passing my classes and getting good grades are the most important goals.
M. H: Do you feel a sense of nostalgia or freedom knowing you won’t be here next year?
G. B: Both. I’m nostalgic about the five amazing years i spent here but can’t wait to move on. It’s only the beginning to a big journey that is my life and future.
M. H: Is this year, for you, meant to prepare yourself for cegep or meant to soak up and appreciate the last year of high school? Which one is your main focus?
G. B: Probably to soak up the last few moments spent here with my friends but obviously cegep is a focus.

To conclude, we both are happy and sad that high school is coming to an end  because this will technically be our last year all together and our last year as high schoolers. If you want you can you too answer these questions for yourself to know more about how you feel. Hope you enjoyed our blog we hope to see you next week!
