As school has commenced male students have had the unpleasant surprise of finding out that the bathroom close to the gymnasium has been closed. During the construction work, the men’s restroom on the first floor will remain closed. Students will have to tolerate this annoyance until the renovations are finished.
Access to the men’s restroom has been removed

It is no secret that that bathroom was pretty big and the closure of it does cause the other men's restrooms to be very crowded at certain times. At the beginning of the school year we had to go all the way up to the fifth floor and usually wait in line for several minutes because the restroom on that floor only has two stalls. Credit where credit is due, the school did try to fix the issue by opening a temporary bathroom at the cafeteria. However, I have often found this restroom to be closed with the door locked. Furthermore, I am not sure that opening an additional two stalls is enough but at least it is better than nothing.

But I have to be honest, although it is inconvenient having to endure the closure of the men’s restroom next to the gymnasium it is not the end of the world.
