Juvenile Soccer Team Starts Off Season 2-0

by David Fortier and Grégoire Barron-Bonneau

On Sunday September 10th, the first soccer tournament for the Express juvénile soccer team took place at Séminaire Saint-François and they dominated.

The first game was against Collège de Champigny which began and ended very well with a score of 2-1 for Saint-Charles. Étienne Alain opened the score with a penalty. They then conceded a goal but, at the very last second of the second half, Malo Le Noc finished a corner taken by Mounir Laddada on a volley. The referee then blew the final whistle. It wasn’t their finest outing and they could’ve won by a lot more goals but it was the first game of the season and the first time they were using the 4-4-2 formation.

The second game was against Collège-François-de-Laval and was won 3-1 with goals by Charles Leblanc(1) and Étienne Alain(2). The last one was a beautiful chip by Étienne who after receiving a well fought pass by Audréanne put it in the back of the net.
