Wednesday september the 14th, our team went around and asked 25 secondary 5 students of Saint-Charles-Garnier. We were really surprised by the results we got. We asked them to vote for their favorite school subject and activities. You can understand that we couldn't ask every 100 secondary 5 students, so we picked a small group of them. The results are not very representative but can give you a small idea. So here’s how it goes:
8 students voted Physical Education, so that’s about 32%.
7 students voted for Multisport, and again 28%
They are really interesting results as nearly 60% like those classes. I would have bet that Physics class, or maybe even 20th Century History class would have gotten more votes because we are more mature and grown up, but our results prove the opposite.
Three students voted for Physics and two students picked Chemistry as their favourite school subject, so all together it makes 20%.
Nobody voted for History, French class, Maths, Ethics & Religious Culture.
Two voted for Arts and 3 voted for Contemporary World (monde contemporain), the 20% left of our 25 students survey.
In conclusion, students like moving and running and playing in physical activities. It’s maybe a sign that we need more active classes in school, that’s what students like. See you next week for another interesting survey !
