Video Games Rule

by Vincent Marion
Before I went to school at the beginning of the year, I knew that there were new rules. For example, we have to wear black leather shoes. I am writing this article because I learned that students couldn’t play video games in the hallway during breaks and I am wondering about the usefulness of this rule.

I asked the secondary 5 students what they think of it because they are the only ones who remember they had care about the video games. What I mean is the younger children always like video game so I am sure they don’t like this rule and the teacher will never say playing video game at school is a good thing. They will say to play outside or do sport with friends when you are free of work.
I noticed that most of the answers given by the students were that it will change absolutely nothing. I will focus on the other interview. One person tells me there was a reason for this and suggests it could be that there were too many cases where young students were late to class because they were playing video games.  Another student says it was because it will take more time for everyone to reach the class if some students are playing video games in the middle of the hallway.

When I heard the last answer, it rings a bell about an ancient rule (which is still applied). We can't obstruct the hallway. If someone is too focused on his video game, he could be an obstacle for the teacher or students in the hallway. He might not be able to hear teachers if they want to talk to him like with someone who wears earphones. These are the reasons why students shouldn’t play video games during breaks.
