Next summer will be coming soon enough and do you know what is happening on June 14th? That’s right, the 2018 FIFA world cup. It is scheduled to take place in Russia from June 14th to July 15th 2018. The finals will take place on July 15th in Moscow, at the Luzhniki Stadium. In the last world cup Germany won it, but I hope this year it’s going to be different because the teams got new players, new coaches, new strategies, etc.

So they take 210 countries and divide them in 6 different groups. They are only 32 slots available. So how do we get the chance to be in a slot? Well, it works on how many points you have. You get points by winning games or by how many goals your team scores. The first two teams in the standing are mostly going to get picked.
We already know that Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Russia, Mexico and Brazil are qualified. But, there are still 24 slots left, then what country is going to be next to obtain a spot.
